Unreal (Ubisoft/EA - Amiga - 1990)
This 1990 title has zero to do with Epic’s engine or series outside of the name. According to Franck Sauer, one of the artists behind the game, the great illustration above used in the ad and on the game box is actually based on a work by Tim White in 1976 called ‘Lord of the Spiders’. As for the game, it looked great drawing comparisons to Psygnosis’ own work at the time.
